Unwanted Music While Driving
Hi, so I seem to be the only one experiencing it and it is quite annoying. Let me explain.

So while I'm playing ATS, namely driving and delivering goods, the menu music (or something similar) would be playing while I'm driving. This is fine, however, I wish there was a way to turn it off without turning off all music audio, as while I'm driving I'd like to hear the ticking of the indicator and screech of the brakes without the music playing in the background, like in ETS2.

And before anyone asks, no I do not have the radio turned on. I've tried several times to go to the radio menu and press stop but it doesn't.

If a feature like this does in fact exist then and is easily accessible then please let me know where/how to find it.

If this is a bug that I'm experiencing then please let me know how to fix it.

Regards

This appears to be a bug. Try going to settings as turning down the Music Volume specifailly. Then right click ATS in Steam, go to properties, local files, verify the integrity of game files.

That could also just means that you are late with your trailer, then you will hear a music in backround warning you that you are late. If that is not the problem it could also be a bug like ttower over me is saying.

As ttower says: turn the "Music Volume" down. This won't affect the sound effects at all and is a seperate volume control than the radio volume (in case you do want to listen to the in-game radio).

Okay ttower, I'll try that.

Put a check in the music box in the game setting. That should do it...

Nope, still happening. And I'm not too sure what you mean TW, you mean enable the music? If so then it already is.

Create a new profile without any mods at all and see if the same thing is happening.

It might be what nfs said, of it being when I am late with the trailer, as it seems to be the only time I hear it. If this is the case, then I take a step back and ask my original question: how do I turn it off?

Probably it, I got annoyed with it, so just turned down music completely..... can't remember if this affects the radio or not

Music slider all to the left or untick the music checkbox also dissables the "hurry up" music without affecting the radio volume. Or, make a mod, hurry up timer: 0 in the economy_data.sii would dissable it..

Maybe you didn't properly read what I posted, which is fine, but I did say WITHOUT turning off all other music. It also DOESN'T say that I actually want the radio on and/or are having issues with the radio, it merely points out that I do not have the radio turned on so it is not a radio issue.

And that is what the mod part would give you, no hurry up music but still music.. maybe read what I post ?

No uncheck it and move the slider all the way to the left...

I can't make mods, I wouldn't know where to start. Besides, I use TruckersMP, which is a multiplayer mod which doesn't allow very much third-party mods.

Once again, I don't want to disable all music. Just the music that occurs while driving that I can't seem to disable.

The only way you're going to disable the hurry-up music and keep all the other music is with a mod.

Edit: Or by not ever being late. ;)
