Dalton Highway ?

I have the V1.38 version of the Winter Dalton Highway, in a new profile. I have no other mods in that profile, i take the first issued load and get a little way up the road. It then crashes to desk top. I do not know what this could be, any help would be good.

I checked the mod sites and did not find it.
I always put this in when it comes out so, I'm curious.

All files verified successfully, i have been out for a while, am going to estart the game now and see if that makes any difference.

I got the map from there, and followed the load order, i do not think i missed anything.

works ok for me. it did take over 3 hours to do a couple of runs, set up my modded truck, a couple of extra mods and establish a beginner profile.

as bufu mentioned, i would start by only setting up the winter mod first. no other mods and disable steam mods workshop from loading workshop mods into your mod manager.
any other mods you add to the dalton highway mod should be placed directly into your mods folder. bare-in-mind the dalton highway mod is a custom worldspace so you have to be careful which additional mods you add.

i know its gonna sound obv, but make sure you have the load order right and make sure you download and use the seperate hvy cargo file instead of the one that comes included in one of the other zips.

maybe lower graphics, turn off hdr that sort of thing?

I will start over tomorrow, I have no other mods in this profile and i loaded the mod's the author said. I did change my location from Fairbanks can not rember the name of the place, but it did seem to run better there. Will try again in the morning. Will let you know how it goes.

i started in wiseman, (middle of the map) i think i went through fairbanks and seemed fine.

note -
to be clear, im using the winter highway for 1.38. im sure you are too.

i mention it because the earlier summer version crashes. at least for me anyway.

Morning Chris.
When i started somewhere other than Fairbanks it seemed to be OK, still having trouble from Fairbanks though. One thing i did see was that the Required File D/L showed errors in it, i did D/L the correct one form the link that said if you do not have required files from previous mod use these. I am going to spend some more time on it today.
Will let you know in a day or two what happens.

All is working now. i have changed my garage to Deadhorse and can run from there. I have not tried to run out of Fairbanks again, will try that tomorrow. Let you know how that goes.
