If so, can you check the settings in the software?
When the brake makes the truck go in reverse its cause simple automatic is in use.
If the pedal not show up at all and its just one of them but the other works seems strange. Change the USB port maybe? Just guessing here.
Edit: Firmware here => https://support.thrustmaster.com/en/kb/3979-en/
Use the 'Real Automatic' setting for wheel and pedals as the two basic auto choices are for keyboard. You should also add forwards and reverse options for gear choice - this can be the paddles on the wheel. Select a 'neutral' gear key or button too.
Do you have the slide switch set to PS3?
Have the latest firmware installed?
Have you checked the Thrustmaster Control Panel to make sure the pedals are not being reported as combined?
I have the same arrangement on my Drift Oz wheel, even though I have perfectly functioning pedals, I use the flappy paddles for brake and accelerator, because...reasons.
Pull on the right to accelerate, pull on the left for brakes, double pull for reverse, then double pull right to go forward, rather like a disabled-adapted car.
Judicious use of the cruise control helps, as well.
Not conventional, but it works for me
