No, there isn't. Best move to earn more, train them in long distance

Check the recruitment agency after every delivery, from time to time u can pick 'ace' drivers

you can lock the drivers profile to gain long distance, then hope they do the right thing, best of luck there, i've had a lot of trouble with them loading home empty, put c2c in and watch what happens, they run across the country empty, i sack them, end of story, next driver plz

And since the pool of driver is limited, you have no choice but to hire them again later ... :steamsalty:

The more recruitment agencies you find, the more and better drivers you find for hire. It helps if they have some long distance training, but you do not necessarily need to max that out totally right away because some training in other areas gives them more types of loads for more money. And I think as their XP increases they have better odds of finding a return load.

One of the first drivers I put in Elko was just hauling cheese locally for not much money at first. But with long distance, and fragile training they can haul cars, or with high value they can haul construction equipment.

Also is it necessary to have sleepers?

yes the recuitment agency may be limited but you dont have to hire them all, only what works and make's money for you, you dont have to hire them again, who said ya do ?

Nobody said you have to, nor to buy every garage :steamhappy: but still, the number of topic of the ETS2 forum complaining that " there is not enough driver to fill every garage " since 2012 is staggering.

that dont bother me, i employ what i need and the rest i dont care about, 140 and still got plenty to choose from
Ryu Sep 16, 2017 @ 7:10am
Keep in mind that there is a built-in chance of your hired driver(s) not finding a job for the return trip forcing them to come home empty; even when they are maxed on all skills.

Don't do long distance, that is the worst. Train the I hazmat, fragile, high value and on time. Or balanced.

Nope. Purely for aesthetics, although the longer chassis have higher fuel capacity, the berth is non-functional.
