What is a good budget wheel?

I've been looking for a good wheel, preferably less than $100. I've looked at stuff like the driving force GT, but that doesn't seem to be available for my preferred price point anymore. Here's my preferences:
1-Less than $100
2-Plenty of buttons (this isn't so important, I've always got my keyboard)
3-pedals
4-decent turn radius

I bought a secondhand Driving Force GT, paid £50.00 so well less that your $100 budget. It's a good wheel for ATS with every button assignable to what you want. Beware of the cheap wheels they may have lots of button but some are doubled up so steer clear (Agghhh pun) of them.

You are better to spend a bit of time and save your money rather than spend a bit of money on a cheap wheel. The game was designed for a 900 degree rotation wheel and the wheels I recommend are the Thrustmaster TMX pro or the T150 pro. Yes, there are cheaper wheels but they will not be as good.

Whatever what works and have 900 degree and vibration. Less than 900 degree makes steering surgical operation, which is not good at all. Vibrations give you early warning when you are going out of lane.

The Driving Force GT is easily found on eBay for 50-60 dollars (at least in the US). If you want to go new, the G29 (about $200) is the best wheel/pedal set at the price. Otherwise a thrustmaster T150 or T150 Pro is a really good buy and has a clear upgrade path. For under $100, the Driving Force GT is definitely your best option, and if you want to later, you could add a shifter like the TH8A from Thrustmaster(be aware this needs and adapter to plug directly into your PC and not just into your Thrustmaster wheel. The adapter is like $15 on Amazon)

Not sure where you got the information about the TH8A shifter but it plugs directly into a USB2 port without the need for an adapter. The Logitech driving force shifter on the other hand plugs directly into the G920 or G29 wheels and would require an adapter if you wanted to plug into a USB2 port.

My bad. I was looking into buying one last weekend and saw that an adapter was needed. Apparently that is only for consoles and not relevant to PCs.

My first wheel was a cheap one, with force feedback, for 60€ or so new.
I soon found that 270° is not enough. It worked well enough for some things, but not for trucks.

900° is much better.

Force feedback was weak on the cheap one, but it was enough to give a haptic feedback. Stronger force feedback is more 'needed' for racing games.

driving force GT, good choice for a starter wheel, so is the TM150.

High End DD wheels but there mostly out of our price range.

I still have my DFGT, and it still run`s Tight from the day i purchased it.
It`s now in the attic because i purchased a TM300 RS.

Over 1080 DOR, 16-bit resolution wheel.

With the Quick Release you get a FREE $0.02 Screw to hold it in place luz...

So far i think i`ve had the TM300 RS-GT for about 2-3yrs.
Nothing has gone bad so far (touch wood).

Not Like the TM`s of yester-years.

I think the DFGT is a 8bit wheel? not to sure, but they are built to last.

Anyhoo if your only testing the waters in simulators, and you don`t mind the cog FFB
go for the DFGT/G29/G27, I do however give you a word of warning tho...

Buy some Pedals, because the stock one`s suck.
