Trailer too heavy and I cannot back up.
As the title says. Can you quit a job? Because I am at a standstill on a up-hill intersection.

Slow down before off ramps to give traffic a chance to clear so you are less likely to have to stop on the hill.

Although in a stock truck with manual gears the crawlers gears+dif lock should be enough to get you going again.

This truck is accelerating up an incline with 79 tonnes. 18 litre CAT 3408 V8 with 600 hp does the job nicely and it sounds fantastic.

On topic: I got no trouble hauling heavy loads.

A big badass masculine V8 with 730 HP. King of the Road doesn't need any presentation, haha. :104:

Happy :longhaul:in'

The best advice I can give you is to run up to the left or right of all traffic depending on your direction or to turn off. Stop at the top on the line and let traffic go and make sure your blinker is on to make sure AI stops behind you. I started a new profile for heavy haul using the stock 389. Slow moving and definitely extra planning.

The advice with differential lock is a good one, in all my confusion I forgot about that.
@ Soharuda On my next heavy cargo I did just that haha:golden:
@ Trucker_Kate Damn that sound, also don really see those massive road trains here in Europe :/

I (if I can) stop about 100yds before ramp, engage diff lock, get as much speed as safely can get around corner(swinging wide) an will often get up in 2nd at 4/5mph. Does'nt always work but it's fun tryin. If not will do your teleport (hadn't thought of that), I just savegme back to free as wind, yea I know I lost the money etc oh well.

You're advice of using the Differential locks helped me lot. I was going up the ramp with a transformer and of course truck came to a stop. i remembered you comment to use the differential lock...so I did and man the truck pulled without a problem...Now that I know how to use it, steep hills shouldn't be a problem right....because the two I am most having issues is going to Winnepeg if you have Canadream mod map...and there's another clear towards the west side of Canadream between Kamloop and (sorry that city has lost me). I have tried few time and took picks of where I am stuck at ended up cancelling both jobs.

Hmmm...now I am hauling transformer and head towards east side of Ottawa Canda and the routes I am taking is a different. So I am wondering what lies ahead when I get closer to the destintation. Nonetheless...fun fun fun.

Anyways...thanks for the advice.

Also try holding the trailer break while letting out the clutch & easing down on the throttle til it's holding, let go of the break and ease out on the clutch.
Some gas stations are a nightmare to drive in and get fuel. Truck stops are easier to Fuel the truck up instead of the gas stations that were meant for cars. On terms of rest stops, try to pick the places to rest that minimizes the chances to back up.

diff lock is for slow traction on gradients. I wonder if leaving the diff lock engaged and driving at highway speed will damage the diffs like it does in RL.

It does give you a notification about leaving the diff locked leading to unwanted damage. I have though about experiementing to see what actually happens. Ive had to lock it up a couple times but always unlocked it once I got moving again.

This is good practice. I only used the diff lock once. Off ramps and such pose no problem because 840hp and a 24sp 'box with 3 crawler gears does the job :)

This video literally got me crying in real life of how proud I'm at being Scandinavian. Serious pulling power coming up!

I know the Scania V8 with 730 hp is rated at 250 tonne, I will find the source later. :104:

Here's something from Australia.
