Quick Travel?
How long does quick travel from one garage to another take? Wish it would give a timeframe of how long it takes? Because if you want a job but in a different city. By the time you get there, the job is gone.

In real timne, a few seconds, in game time, as long as it would take you to drive there.

I think the timeframe is random.

Other option is to teleport to the city the job is located in by using the goto command in the console. You will need to enable the console and developer mode in your profile config file

Oh good grief...the quick travel isn't so quick in game. LOL

For me, it's actually faster (albeit tedious) to just drive there. Since I have traffic fines off, and the no damage mod on, I regularly barrel down the highway at full speed even with the colossal Lowboy 55L behind me. Which usually ends up with me arriving with at least 2/3 of my deadline left. While fast travelling (according to Eagle Eye) assumes you actually pay attention to traffic laws. So if a job offer expires in six (in-game) hours, and it takes seven to drive there, it would take you about half that to get there if you drive at full speed.

Or you could just park your truck at a garage, dealer or service/rest stop, and take the offer via Quick Job. You'll get less money overall, but you'll get there near-instantly, and expenses like damages and fuel are covered by your employer.
Yeah, when I do drive there. I do ignore the traffic stops and get there as fast as possible...but when I do this I see if there's another job when I am closing in other cities while on my way. If I find something else that is close and better offer, i'll take the next city and job that I am nearest too. ty for the advices.

Can you quick travel while under a load?

I always look atwhat is offered in the city I am in, and try to take jobs only going to undiscovered cities. Sure after a while you discover all towns, but then you can adjust routes and get all roads that way too. Surely you don't always get the highest paying load but you will find it makes the game less (dare i say it) monotonous when your always looking to see something different on your new route.

Do the garages need to have empty slots in order to quick travel between garages?
Eagle Eye Apr 21, 2020 @ 9:28pm
No

Go in game and try for yourself, why would I post without verifying what I say?

Not more than 15 minutes ago, I went in game and quick traveled to a full garage..

You should check your own facts..
