ATS "Lag Zones"
Despite my old Gateway PC's age and lack of a dedicated video card, I get pretty good FPS with ATS. However from the start when I first played ATS, I noticed in some particular areas in ATS around the states I get terrible lag.

1st Lag Zone: East Redding/After Truckee on I-80 and highways 299 and 395

The first lag zone I noticed was going from Reno to Sacramento or Redding, when going down the steep hill or taking the back road to Redding, I always get some lag. It's bearable, and I can still drive, but it's annyoing.

2nd Lag Zone: Mostly Arizona

I noticed when driving through Arizona, it can get a bit laggy, but it's like a 2-4 FPS drop and isn't as bad as the I-80 lag. However there are areas in Arizona for me where the lag gets pretty bad, especially the more east and south I travel. Again, still drivable, but annyoing.

3rd and last known Lag Zone: highway 93 going to Jackpot, and South area of Jackpot

Jackpot is the worst. A few miles after leaving Elko and driving on 93 up to Jackpot, my FPS drops HARD maybe 5-7 FPS drop, and the lag makes the journy to Jackpot nearly undrivable because I have such a high risk of going off the road or hitting oncoming traffic. It's not as bad at night, but in the day time it's terrible.

Is anyone else getting lag ins some areas such as the ones I mention? Many detailed areas such as the Grand Canyon or San Fransico Bay area don't lag at all for me, but these areas lag for me and I'm not too sure why. Is it laggin from extra details added to those areas or is it the textures or is there complex scenery objects? Like I said, it's only those particular areas I get seriours lag. Any suggestions?

Even when I had no mods on my ATS, those lag zones still existed on my ATS. Only mods I have are Jazzy Cat's truck traffic pack, longer yellow lights, Skoda Superb car, Peterbilt 377, and C2C map, but even with C2C disabled, I still get lag in those areas.

I'll watch for those places you mentioned...the place I notice is the 101 about 5 miles from the 5, lags like crazy there every time.

Are you talking about the scenic route heading through Ukiah and up to Eureka? Gosh I love that drive! I get 0 lag! It's really strange why I get lag in those areas, whereas other people/drivers get lag in other areas.
