New to world of trucks game already linked?
My ATS game is already linked to a world of trucks account which makes me wonder as i only have played about 20 odd hours and not played using world of trucks yet. But when i try and login though steam it says the game is already linked and i cant find a support page.

any help?

You don't need to log in through steam. If ATS is linked to World of Trucks you can take external contracts which are on World of Trucks. All you need to do is choose external contract when taking a job, that is the purpose of the link.

You log in through Steam only to link the game with your account. You should have a World of Trucks account, which login and password you put at your profile settings inside the game, i.e. not by logging in through Steam anywhere.

Thats the thing i have nver used World of Trucks and so i dont have account information to use.

The way you link ATS and ETS is by going to World of Trucks and setting up an account. When that has been verified by email then you link ATS and ETS2 by registering the games on World of trucks with your Steam account name and Steam password. When that has been done, the next time you play ATS or ETS2 you insert your World of Trucks account name and password into the log in to World of Trucks boxes and that will then link your games. After that there is no need to log in again unless something goes wrong and you are required to link the games again.

If you have not linked your game or have a World of Trucks account, just follow the instructions I have provided. That will then allow you to do external contracts.

This is information for multiplayer which is not supported by SCS so has no purpose in linking your games with World of Trucks. Do not follow these instructions to link your games with World of Trucks.

What i am trying to say is that when i go in to external contracts i get asked to login but i have no login details becuase i have never used world of trucks and so i cant login and get external contracts.

Just to make it clearer so there is no more misunderstanding. To do an external contract your game must be linked to World of Trucks, if it not linked then the World of Trucks website will ask for details which you do not have because you have not linked your game with World of Trucks. If your game was linked and it asked for details then all you would need to do is enter your World of Trucks account name and password.

When i try and sing up for WOT i get this http://imgur.com/a/4KVJe BUT i have NOT and NEVER have created a WOT account as i just got the game in the steam summer sale.

I have no idea what is happening then. All I can suggest is you get in touch with SCS support and see if you can have it checked into by them. Otherwise I am at a loss how to help you unless someone else in the forum has any advice.

I am sorry I was unable to help you and I hope you can get this fixed.
