Police Pull Over

Do y'all think the game would often a better experience if you're speeding or breaking any law that the cops would get behind you and you would actually have to pull over to receive your fine? I know in some states, the city/county officers don't or can't pull semi's over, only highway patrol will. I just wanna know what y'all think.

It would be nice, but isn't that simple to add it to the game. Things like where should you stop, where should cops stop, they need to have place to stop(what happens if there is no place), what happens if they stop you and so on.

lol I remember in 18 WOS convoy the police cars would chase you, but there was a glitch (in the unpatched version) and they would race up behind you at insane speeds and smash into your trailer causing it to jacknife across the highway usually with 100% damage to your load

AI is hard enough, knowing only a little bit about it and im suprised that the game has the AI that we have now!

I've turned off the police because it's always been implemented in a very poor way. Rig'N'Roll did it right. This game and ETS2 a stupid pop up comes up and says you get a magical ticket.. so immersion breaking. Im sure it could be done the way we want it, but SCS are so ♥♥♥♥♥ slow with development of anything good luck ever having it done to either game. I mean it took them since the lauch of ETS2 to update the damn lights of the vehicles? Wow.

I know that I'm doing this a really long time after the post is posted but I really like the idea. I don't really care if it's a mod or actually in the game. I would prefer it to actually be in the game. But if it's a mod oh well.🤣

I think it should be optional personally I would not like it but a optional setting is fine for those that like that sort of thing.

Ouch, nasty glitch.
You also get chased by the police in 18 Wheels of Steel: American Long haul.
The police cars will put on their beacons and sirens. Let the chase commence. You have to a get your notoriety meter up to full but then be ready to get chased.

I would welcome the police chase and get pulled over. Pulling over to a weigh station is annoying.
