I used to use my dual shock for all games on pc till i got my wheel,
IF you want the ps3 controller to drive with then it worked fine for me using DS3 Tool and OR Motioninjoy (but I don't like motioninjoy, it feels semi dodgey).
IF you intent to use a controller to drive (or wheel) and a PS3 Controller for other functions then i'm unsure if that would work without some kind of conflict between controllers.
Maybe clicking NO would work.
If not, maybe you could go into ur documents/ats/profiles and look at the controls file. not sure what code is needed but maybe it goes here, the up/down/left/right section (i'm not 100% sure)
looks like this
config_lines[13]: "input j_look_ud ``"
config_lines[14]: "input j_look_lr ``"
I would like to know too as it's a good idea what you ask.
I actually bought a wheel and pedals, but when Windows 10 came out, Logitech broke the drivers and they kept reinstalling themselves so I finally just gave up on the wheel and it now sits in its box permanently.
All the controller crap sounds nice, but quite honestly all I need to play this game is the WASD and the mouse to look around, nice and easy, nice and simple, and I don't have to get aggravated over drivers that don't work or controllers that can't do what I want them to do.
Anyhow, I hope you figure it out but I gave up on it.
