You can move the games to your D drive, that would take care of the workshop mods.
In your steam library, right click on the game, properties, Local Files, Move Install Folder. Tell it where you want them moved. Then wait for your games to be moved over.

I haven't done this myself, but people say it works. Still, use at own risk and make backups of your saves etc. before doing anything.

Just keep in mind, leave your stuff where it is originally, have the game make a new profile briefly, quit, then move all your stuff over. That's what I did.

All that does is move the game files to a separate installation place. The game still has a default of saving to C:\Users\<name>\Documets\ATS (or ETS2) for profiles, using mods, etc..

-homedir Z:\Gaming

That's my launch option I use. Works well for both games since that drive is one of my WD Black 2TB's.

My SSD is very limited, but moving the entirety of the documents is a pain to keep track of(poorly programmed applications). Mods unfortunately take up a lot of room. That homedir command works wonders.

Actually it does something else. Steam mover doesn't move everything saved in the Documents folder. It moves the game installation, which includes workshop mods.

The above launch code allows entire ATS folder in Documents to be moved to another drive. So where mine used to be C:\Users\Jeremy\Documents\American Truck Simulator, now all my profiles, configs, non-Steam mods and screenshots are in D:\Gaming\American Truck Simulator.

I found moving my steam games onto a portable ssd drive gave me plenty of space on the C drive.

Hi. To relocate your documents folder from c:\users\your name\documents to d:, you would right click your documents folder and select properties, then click on location tab and type the path to where you want the folder moved and click on the move button. It will ask you to confirm to move all files so you will click yes and the folder will be moved to D:\documents or where ever you choose. You can also move all of your user folders this way and it will free up space on your ssd drive. Hope that helps.
