unable to connect to online services due to overload or maintenanace?

Is this a common issue with the game or am i expereincing it? just started the game after a very long time and this error poped up

a community event for external contracts on ETS2 has just finished so World of Trucks website is most likely down whilst they remove the content related to that event. this unfortunately means NO-ONE on either ATS or ETS2 can do any external contracts until it is back up.

Yup, it's just as Capt. Carrot said. The update for ETS2 came (building the new bridge) so the server should be back up soon.
