Arizona and Daylight Savings Time
Not trying to be very technical here, but with the addition of time zones does SCS take in account of Daylight Savings Time? Where this mainly applies is Arizona does not use DST and pretty much every other mainland state does. I live in South Dakota in Mountain Time Zone like Arizona. However right now it's DST and Arizona is one hour behind me. Once it's Standard Time then we are the same. Will SCS incorporate this? Sorry for the long explanation.

Interesting point. The game does not have seasons at present so it may be locked to a particular month in the calendar year in the standard game. Mods may be able to change this and SCS may even make some further changes over time with the time zones feature as the map expands.

SCS games are in permenant mid-summer. So all states (that have it) will be on DST.

So is Arizona going to be standard time?

I'm not familiar with US time zones, IIRC in game it is in the MST time zone.

Not just DLST, but also timezones in general. SCS seems to have ignored them in ETS2, I wonder if we will see them in ATS. After all, the East and West coasts are like two, maybe three houres apart?

Arizona at least with the 1.29 update it gets civil twilight at 430am now and sunrise is around 530am and sunset about 7:45PM which makes sense.
