Never heard of this thing, you may want to go to their site and contact their support staff...

Based on reviews from Wile E. Coyote, I would never buy products from ACME.
Sorry couldnt resist, anyway jokes aside its probably a driver or hardware issue. Does the device work in other games?

I am new to this game and was not aware of a "simple automatic" setting for a wheel. But DiRT Rally in Linux does not recognize my Logitech G29 (yet) unless I configure it in Linux to an alternate mode as a G27, where in this game as a G29 I could simply assign steering and move my steering wheel though its range, throttle and work the pedal, brake and work the pedal, etc. And everything worked (in Linux ATS). I am using manual sequential with paddle shifters. I made sure that all worked in the demo before buying the game.

Some things to note is that the digital range of wheels can vary, and pedals may be reversed (maximum when released) vs. zero when released for gamepad triggers. For example when my wheel is in alternate G27 mode, digital range of the wheel is 0-16383 vs. 0-65535 as a G29. So it is possible that "simple automatic" does not have data for your wheel/pedals, but it might work if you assign each function manually, working that function through its range.
