Default windows drivers never work for these types of things.
The setting for a 900 degree rotation wheel are.
Steering sensitivity = 100% (full right)
Non linearity = 0% (full left)
Depending on the make and model of your wheel the following settings can be different but for Logitech and Thrustmaster wheels the following settings would apply.
Steering = Centred
Accelerator = Inverted
Brake = Inverted
Clutch = Inverted
The FFB (Force Feedback) settings can be adjusted to your liking but these settings should give you fairly good FFB.
Set the FFB to about 75% except for the following.
Engine, set that to about 5% otherwise your wheel will shake.
Terrain, set that to about 5-10% otherwise your wheel will shake when you drive on gravel.
Collisions, set that to 0% otherwise your wheel will jolt violently when you hit something or ai hit you.
Regarding your Logitech Heavy Equipment side panel. It is plug and play so just plug it in before you start the game and set the keys to what you like. I use the joy stick up for connect and disconnect of the trailer and the joy stick down for the handbrake on and off. I also use the scroll wheel for the radio volume. Just spin it up and down in the settings to set it. Moving it slowly will sometimes not work but when using it with the radio just moving it slowly will adjust the volume.

Because you need the input device in the list to be set first before you can do anything else.
