Road map for State DLCs
I think it's safe to say that most of us want to see our state in this game. So along that line of thinking, I was curious if there's a road map for states to be added.

And since I'm a bit biased, I'm wondering most about Texas. I would think this would be a rather large DLC due to the size of the state, perhaps even two DLCs.

We only know that Colorado and Idaho are the two states coming this year, after that its all just speculation. If we are lucky mayby Texas comes next year but who knows, i personally think Montana and Wyoming is next after Colorado and Idaho.

All we know is that Idaho is likely to release this year and Colorado will come after that, this year or next is unknown for Colorado.

We also know that Texas has been getting worked on since at least Utah, probably earlier. All we know for sure is that Texas won't be until after at least Colorado.

This is all the information SCS has revealed.

right... SCS goes by what seems to fit, one after another... they might think one DLC ahead when one is close to finish, but that´s about it... Same as in ETS2 since the dawn of time :)

If you find an official road map for the states let the community know. Because no one here knows of a roadmap for the DLCs (excluding the next two).

There were some road maps that was posted in the past but they're very outdated now. After Idaho and Colorado it could be Texas or most likely Wyoming just to get it out of the way.

Thanks for all the info. Not being a trucker IRL, I've still made more trips from East Texas to DFW than most people would. So I'm eager to see what they do with this part of state. Also eager to see which towns they include.

Whats actually in Wyoming? I drove through it and Nebraska on a trip to, I think Oregon, and dear god, was that the most empty, boring nothingness 10 hours ive ever spent. Couldnt even get cell reception in the whole of the state. Just nothin....and even at the one little truck stop in BFE, Wyoming, I still couldnt get cell service....

Grand Teton National Park, The Black Hills, Devils Tower, Jackson Hole, Yellowstone National Park... There is a LOT of good stuff in Wyoming.
Currently Idaho is coming first this year could be coming very soon. The announcement post of Colorado, SCS stated Colorado is being work along side Idaho and is planned to be released a few months after Idaho. Texas would be interesting to see as it's the biggest state of the main 48 (Not counting Alaska and Hawaii).

If 2021 goes exactly how Idaho and Colorado's announcements, it's possible they will post a teaser and a announcement both while Colorado is in the works.

Seen Wyoming many times, [cruise-control / 90 per.] keep on truck'n...

I'm looking forward to Texas since I did a lot of trucking through there. That said after driving a lot of ETS2 I think a lot of the map assets from that ETS2 would look great for upstate New York and parts of New England. Just change the signs to Merica'! I look forward to more mountainous areas like the Sierra Madre Mod and the Mexico mods. C 2 C has some decent areas finished but also a lot of wide open undeveloped areas. Hopefully the SCS DLCs will see some more grades to pull in the future states especially around the Rockies and Montana.
