After installing the maps, the game first loads VERY long. Patience :)
P.S. Check all the mods on the site. They have all been updated recently.
Here's what my load order look like:
-US Expansion V2.6.2 (C2C compatible version)
-CanaDream v2.10
-Coast to Coast v2.11
-MEGA Resources C2C patch v3
-MEGA Resources 2.1.8
-US 95 Remake v1.3 Pazz
-Reforma Sierra Nevada 2.2.20C
-PazzMod v1.2.01
-Mexssimap v1.6A
-Mexico Extremo v2.1.12C
-Viva Mexico Map v2.5.2C
For all maps mods, go get them at the Official SCS Forums. Not anywhere else. Go to American Truck Simulator, Maps section.
The download links are at the first post of each threads. Be sure to take some moment to Read the installation notes and download the right version, if it's the case.
Mods aren't stupid. People are.
When installing mods, people are warning that it may cause trouble and use them at their own risk.
That been said, having the right, compatible versions of the mods WITH the right version of your game and the right mods load order, it's relatively safe. You just need to take your time and know what you are doing.
Sure, those huge map mods sometimes contains error (invisible walls, trucks falling through the ground, texture problems etc.) but if someone really want to use map mods, the benefits outweight those potential annoyances.
