I turn off the rumble stripes.
I turn off the the open window noise which then allows me to turn off the noise of air flow. Which then allows me to open the windows about 20%.
With those settings I find the game and truck sounds enjoyable, comfortable and not annoying and the Peterbilt 389 and the W900 sound very good with the default engines. That suits me, what other players choose to use is up to them. I am not looking for complete realistic sound, I am just looking for a sound which is enjoyable and not annoying or too loud.
I live in Greenwood, IN

Thanks I'll try those settings and see how they sound to me...
