What keys do you assign for the windows?
I mean... 4 new keys... in a kind of "logical way".
As the whole keyboard is already assinged to something, I am in trouble to find something.
What do you use?

I used NUmpad 1+2 for the left window. But can't find anything similar for the right one.

Yes... should use some of those too. As I use 4,5,6 for quick a camera check when I have to turn around, I can not use those, but 7,8,9, is something I never use because of the weird angles.

Thank you

As a keyboard player, who uses numpad for view control, turn signal, cruise control, and has already used Pos1&End block for things like radio, jake brake, axle lift, this was really a struggle for me.
I ended up with F9&F10 for up and for down the 2 keys between 0 and backspace just below those F-keys.
The F-keys (or at least one of them) were assigned with another thing but that feature was unimportant to me.

I actually used W for close left, A for open left, S for open right and D for close right. It's not perfect keybinding, but since I use gamepad, I don't need these keys, so I used them.

I don't understand why the window button isn't a toggle. The window is either up or down. There's no reason to use 4 buttons for this when they could have used 2.

You don't need to open the window all the way down, you can only open the window for like a few centimetres. If it was just switch, it wouldn't work that way. As annoying as it is to find 4 new keys to use for this, it's the best solution to have separate keys for open and close the window.

Agreed. I play with a wheel in VR and it has a limited number of buttons (similar to an xbox controller). They're all assigned already, but even if they weren't, 4 buttons is too many buttons just to roll down a window.

It actually makes a difference to sound.

To clarify my answer to this:
It is logical to me. Left up: 7 is up and left. Left down: 1 is left and down. etc. Seems to me the best choice

7 close left, 1 open left, 9 close right, 3 open right

I ended up using -,=,insert, and delete as those were the only keys I could find not bound to anything. Kind of wish you could alternatively control the windows in the F4 menu. Could maybe use /, NUM 8, *, NUM 9.
