How to give workers trailer

I can’t figure how to give my workers trailers can someone help

Place a trailer(s) into the garage where they are located.

You can not assign trailers to drivers. As long as the trailers are unlocked your drivers may or may not use the trailer(s).

Any trailer you buy will be used by your drivers as long as you don't use it yourself or make it private.

I think you can assign trailers to workers. I have 3 workers and bought 3 hopper bottom trailers and went into one driver profile at a time and there was a little window at the top but the drive pic for trailers. So I clicked on it and it put the assigned trailer to that driver. After that I went into my garage setting and look at each driver and there truck and trailers were with there profiles. Doesn't that mean they are assigned.

yeah you can assign the trailers but its best to have a bunch of different unassigned trailers for them to use freely when they can so they are not limited to one type trailer

Do you actually assign a trailer or does the game just select a trailer which you are not using for your driver? To me assigning a trailer is that you can select a trailer from a number of different trailers and give it to your driver to use. Is that the case or not?

I don't have drivers or trailers so this is a serious question.

yeah you can assign the trailers in the menu but if you leave them free to use by anyone they will automatically pick the one they need thats why when you have enough money you buy every trailer type there is for your garages I have ten different trailers in every garage and my drivers are always using one of them and when i want i can use whichever one they dont have already
