Best Non DLC Map Mods?

I currently don't have any dlc for the game, I only have AZ, NV & CA. Which map mods would you guys recommend considering I don't any dlc. I have previously tried an older version of C2C that did not require dlc but it crashed my game every time I played on it. I would like to find something other than C2C with maybe a bit more detail, what would you recommend? I am currently running version 1.37.16 of the game.

You need too own all map DLC from SCS ,if you want your modded map too work. If not your game will just crash, so you need too buy Utah Oregon and Washington. Trust me they are wotrth the money, its good quality scenary. Later this year we will get Idaho and Colorado, SCS maps are so much better then all these modded maps.

Sierra Nevada is good, although I think you need to own the DLC for it to work properly.

You are pretty limited without having at least New Mexico, Oregon and Washington. Most decent map mods require those 3; very few require Utah as well but things may change when Idaho comes out.
