Air Horn Issue?

Maybe I’m crazy but I swear I used to be able to honk the horn as long as I wanted uninterrupted. I’ve tried all the air horns available and they all honk twice and then stop before honking again. I guess it’s a rather minor issue but being able to blare the horn for an extended amount of time at the AI is just more satisfying to me. I don’t have any mods that would change the horn sound and I am using the base game peterbilt 389

1. Do you have any sound mods in general? If so: Disable them and then try.
2. Try configuring your keyboard settings (Or Controller)

Check the workshop page, there's a new air horn mod by Robinicus, sounds great.

That's only for 1.37. Since the OP did not state a game version...he is probably on 1.36 and using some type of sound mod.

I’ll finish the current delivery I have and try and make sure I don’t have any sound mods. Could having any truck mods be an issue? I have a freight liner and Mack mod

Yep they can be an issue especially if the modded added sounds to it.

Yeah I didn’t even think of that until just now. I’ll be sure to try disabling all of them and see what happens. Thanks for the info!

It ended up being an engine mod that was giving me the issue but I got it fixed up now. Thanks everyone for the advice
