Many have noticed that it actually never lets the game use the resources it needs and recommend disabling it so they can.
For ATS/ETS2 on my system, it made 0 difference in any of the real time performance logging I did and it wasn't noticeable from a gameplay perspective if it was on or off.
Nope, Not on my PC. All it says is "this PC supports Game Mode" and below that is a hyperlink for more information about Game Mode.
There is NO slider switch for turning Game Mode on and off
Have just done a web search and, according to several sites (including Microsoft's own site), a global game mode on/off switch no longer exists following a Windows update,
Apparently game mode now needs to be enabled on a game by game basis using the game bar. i assume that this is so that games can be individually optimised.
I am only on Windows 10 (1803)
