Crashing VR

I've tried the beta VR 1.5 version with the VIVE and I'm getting crashes after a minute or so regardless of what I'm doing. I've done a new game without mods and old save game with mods. I then switched from the VR beta verson to the regular game without any problems with any save game or new game with or without mods. Anyone else encountering the issue? Am I missing something?

If they have updated the branch for VR to 1.5, and you aren't using mods, go to the SCS forums in their bug section for the appropriate version and be sure to post the entire contents of the game.log file found in your Documents folder in American Truck Simulator. Also wouldn't hurt to post the game.crash log either.

a fresh install did the trick. Working flawlessly now.

I'm getting the crashes in the non-VR game too, it's made it unplayable! I have put a second Windows 10 installation and only installed ATS and ETS2, and it still crashes and reboots.Of course, installing drivers and steam/steamVR.

Please post your complete game.log file from the crash to http://pastebin.com (copy/paste, split the game.log if it is too big) and post the link to it here please. This way we can find out what the problem is.

You can find your game.log in your documents in the ATS folder as a default install on Windows. (If it is not there check OneDrive.) On a Mac the ATS folder is in your Library and there in the Application Support. On Linux the ATS folder is in the .local and there in the share.

I apologise, I didn't realise it was 4 years old, I just noticed the 13th Dec, which I should have known, because it's only the 7th today, but I didn't know what date it was anyway. LOL Brain non existant thanks to not going out.

That mod hasn't been updated since 3 years:

Have you removed any mods without selling all the modded parts first? If so you have to put the mods back in and sell all the modded parts before removing the mods again.

Yea, I noticed it when I was looking through, I removed it and it still crashed. Did you want the updated game.log?

One sec! Just looking through the game log, and at the end it says Incompatible save game, will try a new profile and report back, just in case that is the problem.

Yep! Looks like all my profiles have been corrupted, I just completed the first journey with out it crashing, so I'd say that was the problem. Thanks for the help, I apologise for all the hassle I've coursed you.

Didn't work! It crashed after playing then re-entering the menu. I'll start a new topic.

I have the same issue but mine crashes as soon as I reach a highway? Runs fine then crashes every single time
