Report a translation problem
Choose "Real Automatic" in the settings, assign a key (controller button) to change gears manually up/down. Assign another key (controller button) to choose sequential shifting for those times you want the transmission to hold the gear you're in.
The "automatic" you've chosen works as designed, apply throttle, go forward, release throttle, brakes apply. Very unrealistic and hard to use system.

I believe I had this problem when I first started playing. I think It had something to do with my controller setup and the brake axis.
I use Simple Automatic and my truck just slows down,all of them. The engine never stops,it only slows down like in real life until it finally losses the power to keep moving.
