Looks interesting.
I have the Logitech Driving Force Shifter for the G29 and G920. I enjoy it quite a lot, adds to the realism.
That product is interesting, basically a modification for the shifter?

Never used it but it should do the same as the more expensive knobs.

It looks interesting and I almost picked it up but I just ordered the man usb skrs shifter knob from amazon.ca simply due to the fact that I like the sim aspect.

Yes, its a lower cost version of the larger, more realistic shifter knobs available that add range and split switches with some also having a quick switch for jake brake.

APlusB Software, Almar and Southern Trucker Gaming are the primary 3 vendors of the more expensive options.

I’m a budget so the more expensive ones are a no go.

Yep.
I bought and used one for around a month, before I ordered an Eaton Fuller knob, and a few switches, and built my own SKRS.
And I used the board that this one came with to run the SKRS.

Honestly, between picking up the micro switches, EATON knob, and wire, I was all in around $50-$60 total to make the exact same model they sell.
I won't say they're ripping people off, because time IS valuable, but if you're somewhat handy, you can make it for under 1/2 the cost.

Absolutely - if you've got the DIY skills then it's well worth while making one yourself.

I would say to all. Read the review on some of theses addon's. Some are not for this sim game. I almost purchased the wrong knob. The one I looked at was for IRL truck. Just be careful on amazon.

Well... If you type usb skrs shifter in google it won't take you to the stock truck knobs.

But, yeah! You do need to read the description. I do hope most people do before clicking buy :steammocking:

Ok, the consensus is this item is a good low cost add-on? I have no time nor interest building my own.

You can build your own D.I.Y with combination of any IRL Eaton Fuller 18speed truck gear knob, USB joystick and some open system micro switch encoder knob just as I did with mine..very easy and straight forward
