in MP? Seems so..but with all the Arabic lately...who's listening? (maybe in England..but thats on the wrong side of the road?LOL)

MP already has this.

No need for CB in single player.

In former scs truck series 18 wos you could talk to NPC drivers and even to your own drivers by an cb radio, let´s hope it will return,

And what do you want to talk about? "How's your script running?" "Do you like how garish I made your truck?"
Reese Nov 11, 2018 @ 5:58pm
"How's the weather, hands?" It gets boring real quick. I miss it, too, but I'd rather it be a nostalgic thing for the older games rather than introduce it into the newer games.

Cb chatter would be good. Listening to drivers banging on about how road conditions are etc. However, I would find it odd to natter away to the computer in single player so I don't see the point of it in single player.

A hot shower and paid company can be yours.
Turn off at such and such.

Well it's true...My ears are still blushing,.

IRL when CB radios was first being installed in semi tractors was required to apply for a license by the FCC. Application came with the CB radio. There was not a lot of trucks with CB radios. As time went on more semi trucks had a CB and there was a lot of CB Shops. CBs could have been very posative and usefull tool. Instead a lot of abuse started on the CB. Some truck hands added channels upper and lower frequency ranges or purchased a Ham Radio and added channels. You could monitor with a FCC license. A Ham Radios License in order to transmit.
Bottom line a CB in game "NO"

Reason for edit duplicated same sentence.

The CB chatter in the older games was extremely cringe-worthy and not at all realistic. It was made by someone who had seen "Convoy" way too many times. While a few slang terms were still in use in later years, it was nothing like the 1970s when the CB was part of the "Keep On Truckin'" culture. For the most part, in the later years of CB use, truckers just talked normally, with the possible exception of an "echo box" or other mod. These days the CB is hardly used and most of the drivers I know only turn it on when traffic backs up or running with another driver they know on the same route. Cell phones have pretty much ruled the CB obsolete. But if you want "chatter", just log in to a Discord channel and blabber away, it's the same basic thing these days since the days of "breaker 1-9" are thankfully long, long gone.

Having thought about it since I posted about cb chatter being good. It would get rather tiresome vey quickly. Unless it was relevant to something actually happening while you are playing the game like the game special events it would serve no real purpose and once you hear something said more than once it is not worth hearing again. Even a good joke wears thin after hearing it a couple of times.

As far as Discord is concerned, I hate it and I have never even used the sound function.

Speaking of tiresome, there are some lines in GTA V that, hearing the first few times are the greatest things ever. But after hearing them 10+ times, they're just an annoyance. The same issue with earlier GTA games. You hear the same few lines per mission and while good for the first playthrough, quickly become repetitive and boring every playthrough after.

That's the case in most games. Especially if you fail, having to hear them dozens of times, and thus the words get the baggage of being seen as mocking you.
