Stuck on Special Transport delivery

I'm stuck trying to deliver this special transport, the parking zone had me park around a U bend, very very difficult, I didn't get it lined up, and it's impossible to back up. I cant do anything now because the auto park promt isn't coming up, and theres a bunch of stupid vehicles in the way for me to pull it through and try it again. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1560872011 Im pretty annoyed right now

Save the game and load that save, all traffic will be gone.

Or load an automated save where you haven't arrived at the destination

Ya, missed that. But if he backs up, even though the trailer will go all wally, the prompt should come up. I think I did that once there, myself. ;)

It's not traffic that was in the way. There were static escort trucks and a news van parked in the delivery zone. I tried backing up and the prompt never appeared. They really need to work on some of these prompt triggers. I am constantly running into it at rest stops where you have to park in the middle of the lot or the rest prompt disappears. I ended up just forcing the trailer back causing about 6% damage after it kinked/jackknifed up and was able to pull it straight enough to get the parking zone green.

You and me both. I did my first special transport delivery and ended up with a trailer blocking the nose end of the parking area, I couldn't finish parking the trailer. However, I DID get the prompt to skip parking.

But... it *is* lined up, the marker is green, it's already triggered...? All you needed to do was uncouple.

As for the prompts not popping... are you sure you don't have the Route-Advisor 'stay hidden' (whatever it's actually called) setting enabled in 'Options->Gameplay'?

Noop, the corners are still white so it's not lined up properly.

Yeah I don't have the stay hidden checked. This post was to point out some issues with the DLC. That was my first special cargo delivery on here, so now that I know they are unforgiving I will treat them as such, but this seems like a big miss with whomever playtested, since They placed vehicles in your only possible way out to try and park it again should you fail, and/or didnt refine the zone for the "skip parking" prompt.

I just press the enter key and it skips parking and completes the job automatically

That only works when the prompt to skip delivery has triggered, which is my main complaint in this case, was that it wouldnt trigger.

I think I did this route (Oxnard to Barstow?) with this exact cargo and when I approached the depot, there was no green icon at the entrance so I had to park up and I don't think I got a prompt either so I had to get it right.

The green icon is only there if there are jobs available, you don't get a choice on parking with the ST jobs. You either pull in and park it where it belongs or press enter to finish if you don't want to line it up.
