But... it *is* lined up, the marker is green, it's already triggered...? All you needed to do was uncouple.

As for the prompts not popping... are you sure you don't have the Route-Advisor 'stay hidden' (whatever it's actually called) setting enabled in 'Options->Gameplay'?
Noop, the corners are still white so it's not lined up properly.
The green icon is only there if there are jobs available, you don't get a choice on parking with the ST jobs. You either pull in and park it where it belongs or press enter to finish if you don't want to line it up.
