SKRS shifter plates
Hello,

New to ATS and just got an SKRS shifter last night. Works great but didn't come with the top plates that show the shift patters. Any idea where they can be bought from other than the actual plates for real shifters?

Which one did you buy?

The original SKRS is no longer produced. Company was actually a scam. Took money and never sent product.

SKRS is now being used by several different people who produce shift knobs.

This is the one I bought. https://www.ebay.ca/itm/American-Truck-Simulator-18-Gears-Shifter-Replacement-SKRS-3-switches-/303451354438?_trksid=p2047675.m43663.l10137&nordt=true&rt=nc&orig_cvip=true Could probably print some out on paper but note really sure I could manage to grind my own. Just thought there might me a source that could be velcroed on and off as needed.

That is the SimuRide/Almar shift knob. Those shifters are based on European trucks.

You won't find an Eaton shifter pattern plate for that.

I don't expect to find an OEM plate but I know some of them come with the plate and I was thinking that it could just be easily attached and removed with velcro if I could find the plates.

Since that is based on an European shift knob...you won't find any.

Only thing I can suggest is to buy whatever shift pattern sticker, for whatever transmission type and attach it somewhere on your setup.

Don't even need to buy. Can print one off.

ETA: Here is one that I found doing a quick google search. https://i.pinimg.com/originals/40/8a/cd/408acdf3426f4b6f92daa931f1e82fcd.jpg

Once you've shifted enough you won't need the plates, unless you change shift patterns alot. The knob I bought is for a 13 speed but I've never looked at the plate since I bought it.

I dislike the visual of the wrong tag but I never see it due to now playing in vr.

Good luck on your search though.

You're exactly right, It was more for the visual affect that I was wanting it for. I've just found a picture of one and printed it out and I'll try it out tonight when I'm home from work. I've become quite addicted to the sim in a very short period of time. Kinda helps an old guy live out his childhood fantasies.
