Search Google for TS SE Tool it's far easier to use than cheat engine

Using Cheat Engine in ATS is the exact same as ETS2. The process for both games is the exact same.

You can use an ancient version of Cheat Engine and still get the same result as a modern version of Cheat Engine. Just certain tools or Quality of Life features won't be available.

There are several kinds of "cheats", which kind are you looking for?, for example, a way to start with lots of xp and money, or one to gain more money and/or Xp when playing the game?

For the first one, Squirrel's one does still work, search for it on Youtube "squirrels money and xp cheat" for the latter i have no options for you.

Plenty of mods available in Workshop, easier that fighting to get Cheat Engine to work if you are having problems with it...
