Snow mods

How in the hell do you get the snow mods to work when you download them from website??????

Frosty ATS is a scs file. Drop into Documents/American Truck Simulator/mod folder.

Activate via mod manager before you load your profile.

ETA: If you are referring to a snow mod for multiplayer....ATS is not supported.

I'm having the same problem. i done everything that was said to do and the mod shows up and i activate it but when i load in the snow is not there or the game crashes (it's the only mod i am using and it's the newest version)

If you are reading the post from TruckersMP...that does not work for ATS. ATS is not supported and that mod is made for ETS2.

I have no issues with Frosty ATS 2.5, which is made specifically for ATS.

Well I download it from atsmods.com but doesn’t show up in my mods option.

There's your problem right there. Don't download from those sites.

Download from the SCS Forums or Steam Workshop to get legit links to the mods, or where the author will let you know the site where to download.

Mods from the site, don't automatically install to the mod manager in game or, the mod folder in the game files. You need to find where it was downloaded to, unpack it then, add it to the mod folder in the game files before it will show up in game in that mod manager.
