Releasing: Slowly release clutch, like oppsoite of applying the brake pedal.
Dumping: Push clutch in, set gear, QUICKLY release clutch. Basically dumping is you just take your foot off. Rather than slowly "walk" it back up.
Dumping will instantly stall you out
Heh, well the question needed to be asked :).

On another tack - When you let the clutch out, feed it out until you see/hear it biting then hold it there and let the RPM climb back up before continuing to let the clutch out all the way.
The engine absolutely *will* stall without fail any time the engine speed falls below 300 RPM, regardless of any other factor (including how much accelerator you have applied). So, it's still possible to be letting the clutch out too quickly even though you're applying simultaneous accelerator.
Depends on Engine HP Torque, Transmission Model single shaft or twin counter shaft, Rear end Gear Ratio & GVW. grade percentage.
RL: Example: 1693 T.A. 475 H.P., or 3406 B Model HP 525, Transmission 6 & 4 double under twin counter shaft split boxes, Rear end ratio 4:56, GVW 475,000, 3% Grade you will need a Winch truck or a pusher to get started in 1st & Double Under. If you dont twist one of the two drive shafts or worse.
Edit:
Same tractors 80,000 GVW Grade 0%, Start in 3rd and double under. Shift to the next highest gear will be 2nd main box, 2nd in the brownie.
Have A Great Day.
