Can't relocate a truck from one garage to another
When I try to relocate one of my trucks from one garage to another, it resets back to the default garage, and starts me off there. I have enough garage space for three trucks, which is the reloaction I'm wanting. Any thoughts? Do I have to be in the other truck to relocate the one I'm currently driving? Not sure about this one. Stumped.

No, you don't have to be in the truck. In the Truck management screen all you need to do is relocate the truck to any postition in any one of your garages as long as you have space. I have never had a problem so are you making sure you are accepting that and the truck is actually being relocated because if you do not confirm it the relocation will not take place.

I sure am. It's kind of strange. I have a Garage in Tucson, and one in Roswell. I only own two trucks. My first truck was initially moved from Tucson to Roswell, no problem. My second truck I bought, I originally strored in Roswell after I bought it because this garage has three slots. So I assumed it was already there. When I went into garage manager, it says I'm making no money for Roswell, but 100% profit is still going to Tucson. So I checked it out, and the game said that the second truck I bought, which I originally stationed in Roswell, is actually in Tucson. When I tried to relocate it, confirming the location and slot, it still defaulted back to Tucson when I clicked on the Drive button. Pretty weird.

That is the problem. Don't click on the drive button. When you want to drive the truck relocate yourself using the Driver management screen to the other garage.

AHH. Ok, I'll try that out. Would've never crossed my to do that. Thanks a bunch. I'll give it a shot real quick and let you know if it worked.

Hell yeah, it worked. Thanks again for sure! I have one more question for you that's completely unrelated, if you don't mind. Have you noticed the chrome on the trucks becomes a bit weathered after driving for a while? Is there any way to shine it back up like it was when it was brand new?

No problem. As far as chrome fading, I really don't think there is any feature in the game which would do that. Many players have requested dirt and weathering of trucks but that feature has not been added. So to answer your question, there isn't any way to do that but it could be a graphics issue as sometimes the chrome will go grey.

Thanks man. I posted a new thread about this specifically. I looked it up, and a lot of people had to reset the reflection setting to high. Mine has been on high always. It's cool, because it actually looks scratched up, not just greyed out. It looks like it needs a good polish, honestly. Hahahaaa. Who knows. Was hoping there was a way to make it shine again.

It happens mostly on mod trucks. Although sometimes the default trucks will do that too. I suppose it could also be to do with how good the computer you are using is because with my latest computer I hardly ever notice it. Anyway, it will be interesting to see other players comments because some people here are very knowledgeable.

Next time you're on a day run, switch to the external camera and check out the bumper, mirrors, sunvisor, anything that's chromed out. Make sure you get an angle that's in sunlight. I've got a pretty decent pc, so I don't think it's that. You'll see what I'm talking about.

I'd love to hear what others say too. It was unexpected for me when I saw it.

I forgot to mention that I don't have any mods installed. And as far as the knowledgeable people in the forums, man, that's why I come here, because you all know a lot more than me. HAHAHA, Just look at my initial question. ;) Cheers buddy.

the chrome seems to kinda does a mirror reflection of the colors around it or your paint job colors get mirrored in it and if you are on a grey surface it looks more duller on some surfaces it looks shiny still
