When does Trailer Ownership unlock

Im in the beta and just started a new save as my old one relied on a lot of mods, and was wondering when I could buy trailers, I've got an upgraded garage so I assume its a level thing. Is it worth just going onto my modded save and getting rid of all the modded trucks and buying vanilla ones instead or is it something you unlock fairly early on

I dont use trailers but I would assume the simpliest trailer is unlocked by then. Might have changed since the OP is from 2018.

As of 1.48 (2023), according to the Contents Browsers -> Trailer Browser, the first trailer unlocks at Level 8. It looks like a standard flatbed.

But to buy a trailer you first have to buy a truck, either to yourself or a hired driver. Takes. This game has a certain (quite slow) progress. it might take some time to get what you want.
