Truck won't ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ move

So i'm doing the tutorial and it says to start the engine. Then it tells me to move forward. and the gas will go but then it won't move. Then whilst pressing every button on my keyboard it crashes. So i try to reverse. only for it to not move. Best Tutorial Ever.

That's a good question. Maybe I should do something about wanting to fix it. Like writing a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ Discussion. Telling people about how I don't know what the ♥♥♥♥ i'm doing?

Did you remove the parking brake? If not...there you go. You didn't state you did this so kinda have to ask the obligatory obvious question.

And since it's apparently not obvious to some people. Yes I would like help. I genuinely am confused about the game, despite reading everything. And frankly looking up youtube videos, and scanning through walk throughs and discussions doesn't help. So i'm wondering if maybe if it's an issue with MY game just being buggy. I SOMEHOW completed the tutorial. But i'm driven into a fence and a post and can't move backwards.

Thanks for responding with not a dumbass statement. No I wasn't aware that there was a parking brake. The game's tutorial literally told me to turn the car on with E. Then to move forward using the WASD or Arrows.

Take a look under Options >> Keys & Buttons. In there you will be able to see what buttons do what and also the ability to change them.

I tried pressing one of each button on my keyboard so I was able to move forward, but unfortunately i didn't cut the wheel as Left as I should have. I tried backing up but honestly can't remember which key was the parking brake. So I guess i'll just have to look up the control keyboard set up

If I remember correctly...the parking brake is set to B by default. I haven't used a keyboard in forever to play.

Is it easier to just use a PS4 remote? I tried releasing the brakes. And I see the levers being pulled/pushed. But despite going into reverse with them on or off it doesn't seem to reverse at all

With the brakes released and not being able to move...you might be caught on something then. You can also use camera 2(press 2) and then move around with your mouse to see if you are caught on something.

You can use a PS4/Xbox One/360 controller. Might be easier. No idea how to set it up though as I use a wheel.

Also.....Are you hearing a warning tone at all with the brakes released or trying to release them?

Because these trucks use air pressure to apply brakes...if you are low on air you will get a low air warning. The tanks will need to have a minimum of about 60psi in them for the truck to move once again.

I appreciate you working with me on this thing but it's just not worth the effort, time, and annoyance of learning this game. Appreciate your time though. Wish I coulda said the same for me.

Don't bother replying to the OP's thread. Looks like he couldn't hack it and refunded the game. Doesn't have the mouse icon next to his name. Geez, even my 8 year old nephew can play the game with out any problem LOL

if you're only using a keyboard for acceleration, gears, and everything else .. to move forward you first have to put it into gear .. SHIFT button to up a gear and CTRL to down a gear .. w a s d for steering .. and spacebar for parking break ... other than that get a controller to play then you wont have to get so angry if a public posting area
