How to purchase a tanker trailer?

Quick question about trailers... so I just came back from a long break from the game... sweet you can have your own trailers... but why can I only buy dry van, insulated, reefer and flatbed? I prefer to haul fuel. I see where it says “standard trailers” but I don’t see any other options... I’m sorry if this has been discussed, just didn’t really sift through too many threads. Thanks in advance!

They haven't been put into the game by SCS as of yet.

I believe it has to do with level and your hauler experience, the trailers u can get are the beginner ones everyone has to start with, to get to the tank trailers u need to add points to chemicals once u gained a level i want the same as you and drive tank trailers but i still need to level up my experience before i can get there, it could also be possible that some trailers u can get are area based and not allowed in the whole map, i could be wrong soon i found out i'll keep u posted. happy trucking...

Has ZERO to do with this. They simply have not been added yet.

Now maybe once they are added. This will probably be the case.

Currently what you see is what you get. No more, no less. (Unless of course some one does a mod. Which I haven't seen yet for tankers. Only the log trailer, a low boy trailer, and couple of vans (Utility 3000R and 4000, Sloughton, and a Custom '53)

Wrong. All trailers are unlocked to purchase at level 5. Only some of the basic trailers ahve been added so far. More will come in future patches.

There are no tanker trailers in game to purchse yet.

Ok thanks for the feedback and sorry for the wrong answer as said "i could be wrong" and obviously i am, i was once higher lvl before but had to restart over due hard disc crashed and all data gone, so here i am being stupid and giving a wrong answer, i apologise...

Nope. All ownable trailers are available from Level 5 regardless of skill points in ADR/hazardous goods.

Official ownable tanker trailers are not in the game yet but there might be some mod ownable tanker trailers available.

nja just a shame u can't use mods in multiplayer i had a nice volvo with nose in ets but switching to multiplayer it became an iveco....
