Mr/Hr rigid trucks
Since the release of ats we haven’t been able to use rigid trucks because we’ve always needed a trailer, With the new 1.32 update, we can choose our own cargo for our trailers, so I wonder if we have rigid trucks we could choose from the cargo market, it would be cool to see some hino 500’s and isuzu fvr’s just to name a few, if anyone knows any modders get them to see if they can make it work

What is a rigid truck...
What is this hino 500’s and isuzu fvr’s...
This is American Truck Simulator. If you want foreign trucks then by all means play EST...

Neither in Europe TW, those are Asian ones, (I know you were being scarcastic).

But if we extend the American word, you do know that America is a whole continent, right? that indeed includes North America, Central America, the Caribbean and South America.

Those are quite popular in the rest of the "Americas", if you want to say that those are not USA trucks and play somewhere else, I know what you mean, (quite racist, tho) but I guess is only the reflection of the new USA era....

Game mechanics is still based on trailers as separate unit

Treating cargo separate to trailer is the first step towards being able to run rigids however - essentially imagine a truck with a permanently attached trailer, and you have how the game will be able to manage rigids.

We call them "Box trucks" where I come from. Mods have been done, but they weren't done very well.

Rigids cover flatbed/tray-backs too, not just box-trucks. MR/HR refers to the Australian licenses of Medium Rigid (2-axle, >8T GVM) and Heavy Rigid (3 or more axles, >8T GVM), also covers buses/coaches.

Could even use the Kenworth k370/270 if you want to keep it American, but the Isuzu and hino are the most common ones in aus

Don't forget the Fuso Canter/Fighter, and the Volvo FE.

Tonnes of rigid KW/Mack/Freightliner tipper/tankers too
