Oversized load signage
hey hows everyone doing? you know i notice today on this trailer update that you can put an oversized load sign on a dry van or reefer? why is their an option to put an oversized load sign on a dry van or reefer trailer? i have never heard of an oversized dry van. instead you should add a placard based design for reefers or dry vans for hazardous waste, flammible, combustible, and ect.

The placecards are automaticly added to the trailer when its loaded with what your going to haul.
As for the oversize sign, technically if the combinatioin of tractor-trailer and load weight is more then allowed, then they are suppose to have overweight signs, plus they would need to have permits for all roads they will be driving on to avoid recieving any citations. You can over weigh a container fairly easily depending on what you are loading.

You buy them then stay on truck until you remove them. No automatic stuff going on in ATS....

Though many wish so, or have some kind of trigger to remove and re-install. Looks very tacky driving around with no load and the signs and flags there.

He's talking about the ADR/Hazmat placards, which do automatically get placed on the trailer when hauling such loads.

I wish they were slaved to a key command When I am not running over size or over weight looks crappy having that sign always on my truck. It would be nice to hit the strobe light key and have the sign appear too.

thats a good thought, like folding oversized signs and removable flags would be awesome.

Hello. Is this still the same after all this time? If I want oversized load sign do I have to go to a serving station? Or is it possible to hide it somehow when I don't need it?

I think you still need to buy it from a service station and sell it to remove it, i do not think they have added a way to remove the signage from a truck yet.

That’s really disappointing. The devs should add this option. I tried to modify the truck from “My trucks” page, but unfortunately the truck that I’m currently using cannot be modified outside the servicing station.
