Female profile pictures

Hi, I love both ATS and ETS2, and also enjoy playing with my daughters as it's a great way to explore and learn about the world and how to use computers. When I was creating a new profile just for them, unprompted they say "where are the girl pictures?" And i went, "well, they... umm.... haven't put them in...yet."

Anyway, I'm here to ask the same thing. Where are the female profile pictures? What plans do SCS Software have to introduce them to these two awesome games? Not that it's a barrier to people playing but it seems like an easy way to acknowledge and encourage diversity in your player base, and of course reflecting the diversity of the trucking sector.

There are Female truck driver pictures which you can use when you start a new profile.

There ARE female profile pictures. When you set up a new profile you have to specify whether your driver is male or female to access the relevant pictures.

There are 55 female pictures to use in the standard game..

You need to select male or female when you set up the profile..

I tried that mod and all the female drivers have mens names !!

You don't even have to start a new profile. You can edit a current profile, click on the female symbol and it will bring up the female portraits.

This just appears to be a loving mother who uses a computer primarily for work purposes. I've run into few work software that has a search feature other than email programs. At most, a program will have a "Find" feature which just scans the current page.

Yes, there have been, I even have a few female employees that I've had since day one.

Yup, in ATS my fleet is almost completly females, iirc, 30 ladies and just 2 guys drive for me.

There's currently 259 drivers, 67 of whom are female.

ETS2 has 278 with 68 being women.

Most of the pictures for both genders are of real people, mostly the devs, beta testers (I'm in ETS2) and a few well known personalities like Squirrel, Iwona Blecharczyk, etc.

Some images are just stock images though from sites like shutterstock.
