I mean... this is really the only essential difference between the two. I have both, but if I had neither and only wanted to get one of them, I would probably go with Oregon. It's not better than New Mexico, per se. However, the "base game" (California, Nevada, & Arizona) is a bit "desert heavy", so to "balance it out a bit" I would go with Oregon.

I might do that. For the reason, right now I'm closer to Mexico in the map.
I don't know anything abaut neither of them :)
Me personally, I would pick Oregon simply because it has some new environments, some nice scenery on the coast and logging roads with the unique job of hauling logs.
