You gave one of the best answers I have ever read. Nicely written Timur.
Look at some of the Scania V8s. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GAPLdQgbNU8

But when I'm playing ATS I always go for a long-nosed truck, no matter the truck manufacturer. I happen to drive the most powerful: A Scania T with 730 hp of raw V8 power leaving all the AI trucks in the dust and hauling like a true "King of the Road".
I really would liek a US truck mod with a V8, particularly the Mack Titan V8 would be awesome in ATS.
Yeah, I have the 730 with the mights griffin pack in my ETS 2 game as well:

But he can't really hold a candle to my Pete in my opinion:

I also modded myself a C-16 engine with about the same torque as the V8 and the N14 engine sounds and the 3406 engine brake sounds from kriechbaum. Call it "cheating" but I just wanted to have the power. The engine is an Level 20 Item costing 80,000 $ after all (or so I made it).
Ahh yes, when it comes to sound mods kriechbaum make some nice ones. I got a bunch of them for my Scania V8. Gotta have that rumbling and roaring when driving my truck, lol.
Personally I love the sound of the Cat 3408 600 hp 18 litre V8.
This is how a truck has sounded in my head since I was a kid. No idea why.
Cool idea you got with editing your engine specs ... hmmm. Gives me an idea to mod the 730 hp V8 in to monstrous 2190 hp V8 sitting in Scania's chimera truck. That engine got no less that six turbos. I think I will try it out later.
10-4 and happy convoy.
With ATS you can explore the entire game in about 40hrs and kinda get a "what now" feeling whereas with ETS I have dumped 110 hours into it and still haven't explored everything.
ETS has these terrible "murder corners" where you can just be cruising down the highway and all the sudden the road takes a 90 degree on you. The expansions did away with this. You have to keep more of an eagle eye on the GPS map in ETS. ATS's roads are more fun to drive.
All the cool mods are on ETS, ATS has some fun ones but not as much content.
ATS's drive from Las Cruces to Yuma really captures the umm "realism" of the drive in real life but most of the games content is superior to ETS.
ATS has cooler deliver locations. Locations that are more fun to park a trailer in.
both games are of great value if you are into that sort of thing.
