Trailer lift axle
So my question is generally when it is sensible (and/or realistic) to lift or drop the trailer axle?

At corners or when backing in. It prevents tores from being dragged across the pavement.

The only thing is, the game won't let you lift them while loaded!

At least in beta I thought drop axles (especially on the 53' trailer) were to improve maneuverability when backing into a loading area or driving through tight corners in cities. But instead I found that you actually need them if your trailer is loaded. Otherwise you will be pulling an unintended lowrider which slows you down 10 to 20 mph at the slightest bump in the road.
