You can check by opening the Steam desktop client then going to "Steam->Settings->Controller->General controller settings which will open the Steam Big Picture screen posted above

I also suggest not using the ATS profile and just leave your Logitech software at default settings and use the in-game settings.
Regarding USB2 and USB3 ports, the USB2 are usually white and USB3 are usually blue but they can be any colour. Usually USB3 are on the front of the computer and the USB2 are on the back but USB3 can be on the back as well. So to find out accurately what ports you have go to your computer maker's site and check.
