American Truck Simulator Texas DLC?
I was born in Texas in 2002, but SCS almost making the Oregon DLC. But how about the next state in this game? Texas DLC? That will be good to make that! Cities and towns: Dallas, Fort Worth, San Antonio, Austin, Houston, Midland, El Paso, Galveston, Beaumont, Port Arthur, Liberty, Dayton, and other cities and towns.

i think they want to square the map a bit more before they will add texas. i think they will do UTAH and COLORADO next. and after that IDAHO and WYOMING. after that WASHINGTON and MONTANA.

Sorry to 'burst your bubble' but SCS has made it reasonably, though not specifically, clear that Utah will most likely be the next state after Oregon.
This is by no means 'etched in stone', but pretty close to it.
So grow some patience and 'wait your turn' as it were, you'll see Texas soon enough, just not right now.

On another note, I live in West Virginia, so it's not like I do not understand how you feel, I'd love to have my state next, but I also understand that eventually I will, just not in the near future, and I'm fine with that. Just to know that it will come someday is good enough for me.

Like the others said, i don't think they will be doing Texas next. I remember them saying in an interview that they don't want the map to look like a "hockey stick". More than likely it will probably be Utah.

The good news is that Pavel said he plans on hiring more people and he plans on having two teams working on 2 different states at the same time after oregon. So, hopefully we should be seeing new states more often!

Yeah, I know about that, because I want to see they make it. Maybe in December to start a new map.

There is a good chance that Utah is already well into construction, but I doubt seriously that we will see another completed state, of ANY kind, before the end of this year.
There is a good chance that we may see two states next year though, so you may be a little closer to your wish next year, fingers crossed... lol

Well, i'm going to Texas in December. I'm from Louisiana.

I've been to several states over the years, for various reasons.
Most of them are East of the Mississippi River, which is the area that I'm most interested in with regards to ATS, but I have been to California a couple of times as well.

Huntington, WV...
I'm not too terribly far from ya, about a 3 hr drive I think... :steamhappy:

Yeah, I'm figuring a minimum of about 5 yrs before they get to West Virginia, but that also depends on how they go about releasing the remaining states. If they can up the count to a solid 2 or more a year, then it's doable within 10 yrs at least.

Nothing wrong with hoping, but the general consensus is that Utah is going to be next, but hey, I'm not an SCS employee, so I could be wrong... lol
