How Do I Install Coast to Coast?
I've been having a really hard time with this, and it's really starting to piss me off. I've followed the steps that I know how to do.

I download the mod.

Extract the files on the desktop.

Move the files to the "mod" folder of ATS in my documents.

Load the game...

Nothing happens.

What am I doing wrong here? I use 7Zip to extract the files.

You have to activated it in the mod after loading game. In the mod manager, you have to select in inactive side (left side) to get activated side(right ). Make sure the mod is on top of all other mods. Load game and you should see C2C. I hope this helps.

There is no mod to activate. That's the problem.

I've had the "signs" mod that comes with the map work, but the map itself refuses to work.

The signs has to be above C2C. I forgot about the signs.

But there is no map mod to activate, even after extracting the files and putting it in my mod folder.

It's the same with my music file. I have tons of songs in it, but none of them work.

What version of C2C do you have? You should have C2C 2.3.3 version, if not. goto this site
https://forum.scssoft.com/viewforum.php?f=194 Go on the first page that is where the download for C2C....as a matter fact, Sign up it is free. You go there for other mods on the site.

Oh but be aware...there are two versions.

The first one is without New Mexico dlc - if you don't have New Mexico dlc that first link is for you

The second one is for those who has New Mexico dlc .

It been awhile but read the instructions on what version of C2C you want to download.

If you downloaded C2C from any other place beside https://forum.scssoft.com/index.php then you have a stolen mod that has been tampered with and may work and my not work. If you got C2C from the site above then there are instructions on the first page on how to install it properly so it will work...

Okay, I'll try those links, then. I got the download from ATSmods. I'll see if it works now.

There are 2 different C2C maps. One is for New Mexico and the other is without New Mexico...Also there is a loading order the maps and other mods go in..

I gave up with it. To hell with it.

After you have downloaded the Correct C2C map (as there is one for the New Mexico DLC and a different C2C map for without New Mexico), all you have to do is Unzip the file you downloaded and then drop the C2C.scs and the signs.scs files into your mod folder. Then start up ATS and activate the C2C.scs and the Signs.scs on a NEW profile into the right window and save. Make sure you are starting and using the C2C map in a NEW profile !! C2C map at the Top of the activated mod window then the Signs.scs next. Working perfectly for me. Took me 10 minutes to have it in the game and up and running. Don't add any other mods except those 2 until it's up and running.
I tried all that. I even had a friend walk me through it step by step and the damn thing still wouldn't work. I dunno if it's my computer or what, but I reached my limit with the BS. I got the signs to work, but the map itself would never appear in the mods list.

Raptor, sometimes we need to reboot ourselves to figure stuff out. Take a step back and double check a few things:
- Make sure you put the SCS files in the ATS mod folder and not the ETS2 mod folder.
- Make sure you see the SCS files in the ATS mod folder
- Make sure you have nothing typed in the search bar at the top of mod manager
- Scroll through the mod manager slowly
- Restart your computer and Steam
- Delete the mod, redownload the file and start over
- Take a deep breath and focus

@TerritorialRaptor - have you been able to get Coast 2 Coast mod map working? If you are still having issues with the map not showing. There is on folder you need to look into. And that is your username folder.....Mods may show in your documents folder, but may not show in your user mod folder...

I am thinking it's not under your users ATS folder

1) copy from your document folder C2C
2) Paste it in the mods folder of ATS under users mod folder of ATS

I had this happen before so I hope this helps.

If this doesn't work. then I have no idea at this point on what or how to get it to work for you.

The only thing I can think of is check the integrity of the game. Sometimes it helps and sometimes not.

For anyone looking for a good mod should figure out the coast to coast mod.
I've been enjoying the hell out of it the past two days now and loving it. :steamhappy:

My only error I have seen is on the west side of Milwaukee, WI.

And it just happens to be my hometown too. :)

No, I gave up and said to hell with it. Besides, I'd have to install a new version when Oregon comes out and potentially lose all my progress on that particular file. On top of that, I have a new job coming in that will critically limit my time for gaming. So it's really not worth the hassle.
