Quick Jobs: Anybody Do Them After Buying Their First Truck?
Just got done reading somebody's thread about starting with insufficiant fuel when doing Quick Jobs and it got me wondering about doing these jobs in general. Obviously, until you buy your truck they're the ONLY option available to you, but after I bought mine I basically forgot these even existed. Anybody occasionally still do these from time to time for the hell of it, or any other reason?

All the time. I play all the types, but I tend to shy away from the external contracts unless it's the weekend and I plan on spending a lot of time playing. Don't like having the missions expire.

Just curious... you say you do them all the time. Do you own a truck and just do a lot of Quick Jobs anyway, or what?

Will do a quick job to try out a brand / type of truck before i purchase it . ( Nothing worse than buying a truck , not liking it and taking a loss on selling it ).

That's a good point. A while back I chose to buy the Kentworth W900 for my second truck because I thought it looked cool, but I hated actually trying to drive the thing. I ended up just giving it to one of my employees.

I do a quick job when I want a job quick.

I don't know anyone who doesn't like a quickie every now and again.

I've never done a single quick job after purchasing my first truck. I was always under the impression that freight market jobs paid more than quick jobs, as long as fuel/repair/toll costs didn't negate that.

Freight market pays more, but if you don't need money...

Last time I did the Quick Job was 2016, before purchasing a Peterbilt 579 daycab. I eventually sold the Peterbilt for the W900 by Kenworth. I'm all about Freight Market and External Contracts, they pay better and there is nothing like driving your customized truck.

If your looking to get an achievement it might be good using quick jobs.

I do quick contracts when a new DLC comes out to test new things instantly instead of having to get my truck to wherever. If a new truck came out, Quick Job. If a new state came out, Quick Job. New trailer pack came out, Quick Job.

Otherwise, no. There's no real use once I had gotten my own truck.

As soon as i purchase my own truck, I don't bothter with Quick jobs. Mainly Freight jobs or External job (only when an event is happening from WOT = World of Trucks). :steamhappy:

I always start with Quick-Jobs with realism starting from the beginning. I keep grinding on and on to get more replay value off of it, then when I get enough I buy myself a truck then.
i don´t really... just doing them until i can get the full loans and a bit so i have some safety after buying an additional garage and 2-3 trucks ... as soon as i have a truck, i don´t do quickjobs anymore...
