How to adjust traffic
I have two problems with traffic in ATS. First, there are way too many police and highway patrol cars everywhere. I usually pass at least 5-10 in less than two minutes, which is just unrealistic.
And speaking of unrealistic, why does it feel like every hour is rush hour in the middle of nowhere while driving through Arizona and New Mexico? I've gotten in the habit of quick-saving before pulling into any gas station because it's very likely I may not be able to get back out, being trapped by an ongoing middle-of-the-desert parade of cars that just keep coming and coming.
Amazingly, there are about a dozen Workshop mods here that actually *increase* traffic! No mods that lessen traffic, only the complete removal.
No working mods that lessen cop car spawns either, there were a couple but they're no longer being maintained and are incompatible with v1.30.
So I wonder, is there a file or something I can edit in order to reduce the general traffic spawn rates?

Using the console and " g_traffic x.xx " is the simpliest option.

Enable the dev console. Then use this command:

g_traffic #

(replace # with a number, 0 is no traffic, 1 is default, you can put anywhere in between, or even higher than 1)

Edit: Hi Nono
