Model geometry version 506d6714
I am beginning to really wonder about this error being a false error. I have serched the net looking for the download of the new version, tried so many combination of words. All you get is thousands of hits of peole reporting the smae old error.
<WARNING> [model] Model geometry '/vehicle/truck/kenworth_w900_long/truck.pmg' has incorrect file version 506d6713 - expected version 506d6714
does not matter if its ETS, ATS Brand of trucks or trailers, Ai all the same.
Anybody had any success, wouldbe interested.

It means that the mod has not been updated to the new format, the update was made to move the load from the CPU to the GPU to ease the load on the CPU. It will not harm the game, but you might want to find an updated version of the truckmod.

It is not an error, just a warning. All it is telling you is that your W900 mod is out of date, and may cause issues with the game. You should really update it if possible.

It's a version mis-match warning, the model file is one version point prior to current. The game corrects this automatically during runtime but you should keep an eye out for if/when the mod is updated and switch it out - Since these are done at runtime, lots of version mis-match corrections can hurt performance.

If you're getting that error it may be time to remove the mod. It suggests it hasn't been updated in over a year.

While the error won't do you any harm right now, it is entirely possible that SCS may in future disable support for old PMGs (which would be wise on their part IMO) if that was to happen the game would crash on these very outdated mods.

If you are savvy enough, you can add a switch to Launch Options which enables the game to automatically update those PMG files during gameplay and dump them to a directory of your choosing. It does this using the same directory structure as the mod, so all you have to do then, is copy the converted PMGs to the mod's directories, overwriting them. Save the mod and away you go.

Found your help on this in SCS forums, with the steam command line instructions.

Make sure to disable all other mod's other than the one you want to fix.
