Split loads or Multi drop loads
Hey guys
just wated to put something up to see if anyone else has thought about it aswell
the concept of a multi drop loads when pulling multiple trailers
for instance if you get double trailer load, they could make it so have to drop the dog trailer (rear trailer) at a location along the way

Quite false @Blackout. This happens all the time along with multiple stops to empty a trailer.

We are just getting air and electrical connections...this could be done in the future. Who knows.

perhaps even the concept of multi commodite loads and the ability to pick up another trailer on the way

the possibilite to split the trailers to deliver them

I wouldn't mind if SCS could implement LTL (less than truckload)....

Multiple stops with the same trailer. You'd have to 'dock' and unload several stops

I don't know where you are from, but multi drops take place all the time. Its called trucking...

that would be good actually, it would make for an interesting trip, if they do then could make things a little more interesting with time slots for unloading too

That what I could imagine (for example) for the Western Star plant.
Have your garage located nearby, go to the plant, pick up empty steel boxes/ containers, go to two/ three car parts suppliers, at each point unload the empties, pick up full boxes with car parts, deliver to Western Star plant.

The icons for the car parts could be taken from the truck dealer section.
Less 'Driver X could´t find a job and returned empty/ costs are` cases.
